Welcome to ClassBricks ("classbricks.com," "we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, classbricks.com, and use our services (collectively, the "Service").

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information You Provide to Us:

  • Account Information: When you sign in with an email address, we collect your email address. Your name is optional. If you sign in using a third-party service (like Google or Apple), we collect your email address and name, subject to your approval during the sign-in process.
  • Purchase Information: When you subscribe to our Service, we collect your email address and country of origin to process the transaction. This payment is processed by our payment partner, Paddle. We do not collect or store your sensitive payment information, such as credit card numbers.
  • User-Generated Content: We collect the prompts you enter while using our Service ("User Prompts").
  • Communications: When you contact us for support (support@classbricks.com) or privacy inquiries (privacy@classbricks.com), we collect your email address and the content of your message.

Information We Collect Automatically:

  • Usage Data: We automatically collect certain information when you visit and use the Service, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages you visit, and the time and date of your visit.
  • Cookies and Tracking: We are not currently using any cookies or tracking technologies on our Service. Should we begin using such technologies in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our Service.
  • To process your subscription payments through our partner, Paddle.
  • To manage your account and provide you with customer support.
  • To communicate with you, including responding to your inquiries and sending you transactional emails related to your account or purchase.
  • For Marketing (With Your Consent): If you explicitly check the box to opt-in during purchase, we will use your email address to send you promotional emails and offers. You may opt out at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in those emails.
  • To Improve Our Service and Train Models: We use User Prompts and the content generated by the Service to improve our product, for research, and to train our artificial intelligence models. User Prompts are retained indefinitely and may be used for these purposes. Prompts used for model training are anonymized and disconnected from your account information.
  • To monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience.
  • To comply with legal and financial obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with third-party service providers in the following situations:

  • Payment Processing: With Paddle, our payment processor, to handle your subscription payments.
  • Analytics: We do not currently use analytics tools. If we implement tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel in the future to understand how users interact with our website, we will update this policy.
  • AI Service Providers: We use Google Gemini API to power our Service. Your User Prompts are processed by Google Gemini to generate responses. Google has its own privacy policies and data practices. While we select providers with strong privacy standards, we cannot control how they handle data once transmitted. We do not share your account information with AI providers, only the content of your prompts.
  • Backend and Hosting: Our application is hosted on Firebase (a Google service), which stores your data on our behalf.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use only essential cookies that are necessary for our Service to function properly, such as those required for user authentication and security. Additionally, our payment processor (Paddle) may use cookies during the checkout and payment process.

We do not currently use analytical or marketing cookies on our website.

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept essential cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service, including the ability to log in and complete purchases.

Should we implement analytical or marketing cookies in the future (which may include third-party cookies from providers such as Google or Meta), we will update this policy accordingly.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. Our Service is hosted on Firebase, and our payments are processed by Paddle, both of which maintain high-security standards. We do not store your sensitive payment information.

However, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information as follows:

  • Account Data: As long as your account is active
  • User Prompts: Retained indefinitely for service improvement and AI model training (anonymized when used for training)
  • Payment Records: As required by tax and financial regulations (typically 7 years)
  • Generated Content: As long as your account is active

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing privacy@classbricks.com. We will delete your account information within 30 days, except where we must retain it for legal compliance (such as payment records).

Important Note: User Prompts that have been anonymized and incorporated into AI model training cannot be removed from trained models, but your account information will be disconnected from such data upon deletion.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is intended for use by teachers and other educational professionals. It is not directed to or intended for use by individuals under the age of 18 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personal information from Children.

Important: Our Service is not designed to process student personal information. Teachers and educators must not input any personally identifiable information about students (such as names, grades, or identification numbers) into the Service. If we discover that student personal data has been collected, we will delete it immediately.

If you become aware that a Child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@classbricks.com.

8. International Data Transfers

ClassBricks is based in Israel. Your information may be transferred to and processed in Israel, the United States, and other countries where our service providers operate (including Google/Firebase, Paddle, and Google Gemini).

These countries may have data protection laws that differ from your jurisdiction. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place through:

  • Our service providers' compliance with applicable data protection frameworks
  • Security measures described in Section 5

By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these jurisdictions.

  • Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and personal data
